FAQs

Is this type of fireplace approved for use in my area?

Fireplace usage must comply with local building and fire safety regulations. We recommend checking with your local authorities  before purchasing to ensure installation is permitted in your area.

How far should a fireplace be from combustible and non-combustible materials?

Safety clearance varies depending on the fireplace type:

Above combustible materials (e.g., wood, fabric): at least 1 meter (about 3 feet)

Around combustibles: at least 50 cm (about 20 inches)

Around non-combustibles (e.g., brick, concrete): at least 10 cm (about 4 inches)
We provide detailed installation guidelines with every product to ensure safe use.

Should I hire a professional for installation?

Although our fireplaces are designed for straightforward installation, we still recommend hiring a qualified professional for safety and the best visual result. Local contractors or builders are usually able to assist with fireplace installation.

What is the typical BTU output of a fireplace?

BTU (British Thermal Unit) output varies by fuel type and design:

Open wood-burning fireplaces: approx. 10,000 – 30,000 BTU

Closed wood-burning fireplaces: approx. 30,000 – 80,000 BTU

Open gas fireplaces: approx. 10,000 – 30,000 BTU

Closed gas fireplaces: approx. 16,000 – 40,000 BTU

Bioethanol fireplaces: approx. 5,000 – 12,000 BTU
Actual output depends on burn rate, room size, and installation method. These figures are for reference only.

What are the differences between fireplace core types?

  • Wood-burning core: Burns real firewood and requires ventilation through a chimney or flue. Offers a traditional experience with strong heating.

  • Gas core: Uses natural gas or propane as fuel. Most models are ventless and easy to maintain. Provides real flames and good heating efficiency.

  • Bioethanol core: Burns clean bioethanol, does not require ventilation, and produces a real flame. Eco-friendly and installation-flexible.

  • 3D Water Vapor / Mist Flame: Uses ultrasonic vibrations to turn water into mist, illuminated by LED lights to simulate flames. Visual only — no heat output.

  • Electric Carbon (Resin Log): Uses LED lighting and resin logs to imitate glowing embers or carbon flames. Decorative only — no heat output.

What does the price include?

For wood-burning fireplaces, our pricing includes the fireplace unit itself, a complimentary 80-inch flue pipe, shipping, taxes, and all essential accessories.
For fire pits, the price includes the fire pit unit, gas or propane piping, decorative stones, and other necessary components.
Please note that different projects may require different accessories.

I already have a chimney—can I purchase only the fireplace unit? How will it connect to my existing flue?

Yes, if you already have a flue system in place, you can purchase just the fireplace unit. However, we will need detailed specifications of your existing flue to ensure the fireplace we build can connect properly and safely to your current system.
